Sylvie Shades of Olive Framed Canvas Wall Art Print by Mary Sparrow

A pale sky rises over an olive-toned landscape in Mary Sparrow’s Sylvie Shades of Olive. This wide framed canvas print brings together soft greens, distant hills and a white frame with a beaded edge.

The horizontal composition measures 33 by 23 inches overall, with a 1.6-inch frame depth. Place it above a chest or console where the line of the landscape can extend the furniture’s shape and connect the room with the greens beyond the window.

“I would draw just one olive note from this landscape into the room, perhaps in a cushion or a glazed bowl. The picture has enough variation to keep the rest of the palette simple.”

Maker / Heritage

Kate & Laurel comes from Uniek’s design and curation team in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Its artist collaborations make the frame part of the composition: a recessed canvas, a beaded edge or a glazed print gives the same wall a different rhythm. The artwork in this edit is printed and framed in Wisconsin, pairing named artists’ imagery with the finishing that turns a print into a piece ready for a considered home.
